Mankind depends too much on technology; we use it every moment of the day. Some people even abuse it and wind up throwing their lives away because of it. People think we won’t survive a day without technology. We are letting technology do our jobs for us and put us out of work. We even use it kill others and destroy the Earth. This has become one of many epidemics in the world as countries advance the time spent with each other in person has diminished and new"online" friendships have developed, thus leaving a whole generation without, or little social skills. Also many good things have come from this progress, but also we can handicap ourselves by becoming too relying on that technology. Even though this technology has benefited us it is also posing a big problem in our environment, it is called E-waste (Electronic waste). This problem has resulted from many years and generations of computer development, as new generations are created the old are trashed and sent to local land fills where they can cause serious harm during decomposition. For example, when a computer monitor is thrown away and sent to a landfill and becomes damaged, harmful gases are released into the air. This is becoming a growing threat and needs to be brought to attention, the future of technology is bleak.
